Mainline as it crosses itself with a pair of Allegheny Northern F3s roaring under a Pennsy Steamer hauling a passenger train.

Downtown Piedmont, as can be seen this town is served by trolleys.

South end of the layout, the trolley can be seen in the foreground servicing a coal tipple. A scratchbuilt Mikado can be seen hauling freight in the center and a crack passenger train can be seen in the near background. Some of our railroad heralds can be seen in the far background of this shot.

The middle of the layout with the traction line in the foreground and the two levels of mainline in the background.

A shot of the Lionel grain elevator that has been custom painted and weathered. Also seen is the Bob Lang scratchbuilt Mikado. The Pennsy A5 0-4-0 switcher was built by Ken Henry.

The roundhouse with the mainline curving around past. The town of piedmont can be seen in the background of this shot.

Pictures of the O Scale Layout were taken by Fred M. Dole and appear courtesy of O Gauge Railroading, these pictures were used with an article on the BSME celebrating our 60th anniversary in April 1992.
