We hold open house
shows to promote the hobby of model railroading, we have held our open
houses for 75 years! If you are interested in the hobby, we also welcome
new members!
We are open the Second Sunday of each month, except May!Weather and Holidays permitting, plan to drop by to see trains run, find out more about the trains, the hobby, and our club.
You will see operating trains and trolley cars in both HO and O scale. We also have many other displays of models and railroad items, including a real steam locomotive bell and whistle. If you have a group who would like to visit the club, please e-mail your request to: bsme1932@yahoo.com. Admission is by donation. We suggest donations of $5 per person, $3 for ages 3-13, and $10 for a family. (That is a lot less than the cost of movie tickets!) For a preview of what you'll see and a description of our display look at our layouts. We are located at 225 W. Saratoga St in downtown Baltimore, between Howard St and Park Ave. Howard Street is the extension of I-395 into downtown. I-395 is the main downtown exit from I-95. If you are driving south it will be just after going through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (toll tunnel). Saratoga Street is one block south of Mulberry Street, which is route 40 eastbound. Parking is available on the street and is free on Sundays. We are one block north of the Lexington Light Rail Station, and two blocks east of the Lexington Market Metro station. If you need more directions, call the club at: 410-837-BSME (2763), and leave a message or send e-mail to: bsme1932@yahoo.com. |
